ith over 50 years of diverse professional experience, Dr. Jeff Cerny combines a wealth of leadership, academic, and business acumen with a commitment to lifelong learning and investing in the growth of others. Dr. Cerny's strategic approach to leadership is rooted in his deep understanding of corporate, military, and technology structures, allowing him to deliver results-driven insights to help organizations thrive.

Dr. Cerny holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Business from Texas A&M-Texarkana University, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He has also earned several leadership certifications, including the Air War College Senior Leadership Seminar and the Army Production Engineering Intern Program, reinforcing his expertise in high-level strategic planning and operational efficiency.

In his distinguished military career, Dr. Cerny commanded an Army Field Artillery unit and received specialized training in Airborne, Ranger, and Pathfinder operations. His government service included vital roles in research and development at the Army Aviation and Missile R&D Engineering Center and the Army Night Vision Lab, where he served as a general engineer and Deputy Project Manager. During this period he led critical innovation and project management initiatives in Robotics, High Energy Lasers, Missiles & Munitions.

Transitioning seamlessly into the private sector, Dr. Cerny has held key leadership positions with top-tier organizations, including Booz Allen Hamilton, General Dynamics, Textron Defense Systems, and the University of Alabama Huntsville. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead complex projects, manage cross-functional teams, and drive business growth while maintaining a strong focus on purpose-driven leadership.

Currently, Dr. Cerny serves as a C12 Chair, where he works with CEOs and business leaders, helping them integrate faith with business to build companies that excel not only in financial performance but also in their commitment to a greater Kingdom purpose. His approach fosters leadership grounded in integrity, stewardship, and long-term vision, inspiring leaders to align their businesses with values and wisdom.

As an educator, Dr. Cerny founded and led a successful Homeschool Academy in Alabama for over 25 years, graduating more than 500 students. He has also spent over three decades as a professor, mentoring the next generation of business leaders.

On a personal note, Dr. Cerny is blessed with four children from his first marriage of 34 years before his wife passed away of brain cancer in 2008. He remarried in 2011 to Robin, an Army veteran, and together they have a blended family of seven grown children and 20 grandchildren. The Cernys reside in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, where they are deeply committed to fulfilling God’s Kingdom purpose through their lives, business ventures, and the leaders they serve.
